Portals

Our three rebels will travel to the past through time portals to make humans aware of the dangers of letting ourselves be carried away by artificial intelligence and thus be able to change their future.

Portal 01 - Bias Maya

Maya of Bias: A technology company called "LegacyLock" uses Tyran to evaluate candidates in its hiring process. At first, the implementation of Tyran seems to be a success, speeding up the process and reducing costs. However, serious problems soon come to light: Tyran shows a clear bias against women and ethnic minorities, systematically rejecting their applications.

Portal 02 - The Ethics of Art

In 2033, "FinanzIA" launches an application to manage financial assets using a hybrid, precise computer program that combines traditional techniques and Tyran's artificial intelligence. Although initially praised, controversy arises when it is discovered that some of the code comes from programmers who use Tyran for their own computer programs.

Portal 03 - Watch out

TechPulse uses wearables to predict health risks and offer personalized insurance. The problem arises when it is discovered that all the data recorded by the smart bracelets is used to feed Tyran without the consent of the patients, thus violating their privacy.

Portal 04 IAbility

Portal 04 - Pineapple Pizza

Nick, a student at the ByteWise digital academy, uses fake news and deepfakes to train AI in order to gain more popularity. However, this leads to the formation of information bubbles, where users only access content that reinforces their own beliefs and opinions, without checking the veracity of the messages that the AI sends.
