At Entelgy Digital we help organisations to optimise their continuous integration and deployment processes, applying our own methodology, together with widely proven technology based on open source software. Our vision in DevOps is as follows:

  • We focus our attention on configuration management, which will allow us to bring all environments used by our customer as close as possible to the production environment.
  • We concentrate on continuous integration, which allows our clients to add small changes made by their developers to the software developed so that it can be tested and deployed in development environments as soon as possible. To do this, we integrate different open source solutions, automating repetitive processes and training our clients' technicians in the management of the resulting ecosystem.
  • We analyse the different testing strategies, all of them with the aim of minimising the possible errors that may occur in production environments. We also set up mechanisms to detect errors in early stages of development so that their correction is as simple and inexpensive as possible.
  • As a continuation of continuous integration, we automate continuous deployment. Applying techniques and technologies based on virtual machines and/or containers. The latter can be run in Kubernetes / OpenShift clusters on-premises or in the cloud. On this approach, our commitment is to simplify the application of scaling and security, for this, we recommend our customers to enable service grids, with solutions such as Istio.
  • Another aspect to highlight is the work we carry out in the monitoring of the entire ecosystem of integration and continuous deployment, with ELK type solutions for logs. Implementation of alarm systems (zabbix, ...), anomaly detection (influxdb, ...), provision of infrastructure (ansible) and centralised administration.

Our differential value in the DevOps strategy is to offer our customers the entire process of adopting these technologies, based on open source solutions that accelerate continuous integration and continuous deployment, in a framework of practical automation of services or microservices object of such promotion between environments, without neglecting the quality and security of such promotions. To this end, in each implementation project, we combine teams of devops engineers, solution architects and change management specialists. Always applying agile methodology (SCRUM or Kanban).
